NCBA Members Win Statewide, Legislative, Congressional Elections

The following North Carolina attorneys were elected in 2020 to the U.S. House of Representatives and the N.C. General Assembly, as well as to the offices of Governor, Attorney General, and Council of State positions.

Please note that these results are tentative pending formal certification by the N.C. State Board of Elections on Nov. 24, 2020.

Fifteen lawyers will be serving in the N.C. Senate, including four members of the NCBA. In the N.C. House of Representatives, 23 attorneys will be serving, including eight members of the NCBA.

Overall, 38 lawyer-legislators will serve in the General Assembly, which was scheduled to convene on January 13 for the 2021 session.
