Recognition

Dennis A. Wicker of Nelson Mullins in Raleigh received the NC Chamber’s Distinguished Service Award during its 79th Annual Meeting on March 18. Wicker served two terms as lieutenant governor and six terms in the N.C. House of Representatives. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Coca-Cola Consolidated, Inc. of Charlotte, N.C., and First Bancorp of Southern Pines, and is the founder and a current board member of the Lee County Education Foundation. He is also a member of the Campbell Law School Board of Visitors and the Duke Heart Center Leadership Council.
