Guilford County CourthouseThe NCBF is recruiting volunteers for a middle school mock trial competition in Greensboro on Friday, December 8, 2023. We are seeking volunteer attorneys, paralegals and law students to participate as scoring jurors and presiding judges. Volunteers may sign up to participate in multiple time slots. The competition will take place in person at the Guilford County Old Courthouse.
NCBF Middle School Mock Trial – Charlotte
Mecklenburg County Courthouse 832 E 4th Street, Charlotte, NC, USThe NCBF is recruiting volunteers for a middle school mock trial competition featuring six teams in Charlotte on December 8, 2023. We are seeking volunteer attorneys, paralegals and law students to participate as scoring jurors and presiding judges. Volunteers may sign up to participate in multiple time slots. The competition will take place in person at the Mecklenburg County Courthouse.

NCBF | Wills for Heroes – Orange County
Volunteer attorneys will produce wills, health care power of attorney, durable power of attorney, and advance directive documents for first responder clients from Orange County. Volunteers will receive training prior to client meetings, which are scheduled at 10 a.m. and 12 noon. Estate planning experience is not required.
