Citizen Lawyer Class of 2024: Diana Santos Johnson
Diana Santos Johnson is an attorney at Waldrep Wall Babcock & Bailey PLLC and is part of the firm’s bankruptcy team. Before joining WWBB, Diana worked at Legal Aid of North Carolina, Inc.
She graduated from Wake Forest University and North Carolina Central University School of Law.
Diana enjoys being involved in her community and has volunteered with Piedmont Advantage Credit Union (PACU), Smart Start of Forsyth County, Inc., and the Hispanic League. She is also a member of the North Carolina Bar Association’s Minorities in the Profession Committee and the Women in the Profession Committee.
Throughout her career, she has received numerous professional accolades, including the National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges Honorable Cornelius Blackshear Fellowship in 2012, NCCU Young and Rising Alumni in 2013, NC Lawyers Weekly Leader in the Law in 2017, American Bankruptcy Institute’s 40 Under 40 Class in 2021, Hispanic National Bar Association 2023 “Top Lawyer under 40,” and been recognized as Legal Elite by Business North Carolina Magazine. She has been a member of the NC Pro Bono Society in 2017, 2018, 2021, 2022, and 2023.
