Bankruptcy

Get Involved

The Bankruptcy Section promotes networking for practitioners in all areas of bankruptcy practice and members who practice in three U.S. federal districts of the Bankruptcy Courts, providing educational opportunities through an “Annual Bankruptcy Institute” in November. The section updates and revises the Bankruptcy Manual as needed, sponsors CLE programs and helps mold NCBA’s legislative agenda for presentation to the General Assembly.

Members receive discounted CLE opportunities, access to a members-only online community forum and invitations to networking socials, panel discussions and Lunch & Learns. The section also offers practice-specific blogs, legislative and policy updates, ethics guidance and opportunities to engage in pro bono work, providing meaningful ways to grow professionally while supporting the broader legal community.
